Musa ‘Figo’

Fruit Banana, Dessert and Cooking Banana

One more than 10 to 13 feet tall Brazilian cultivar similarly to Musa 'Orinoco' syn. 'Bluggoe', which belongs probably to the group ABB and to the section Musa. The fruit quality is similarly to the of Musa 'Orinoco'.

It has probably the same features like Musa 'Orinoco' in the cold reistance and the drought tolerance.

Yet it is not introducted to Europe, the culture is like the of Musa ‚Dwarf Cavendish’ and 'Roxa'.

Since 16th September 2009 I have this cultivar in my yard, best thanks to Helton Josué and his wife.

Musa 'Figo' in December 2009.
